Title Request #7

Let it be in the twilight,
after the day's low drum of inertia
has almost knocked you over, love—

Let it be like the smooth
bed of the Em Dash—

Let it be a field of rest
for your untidy feet, the luck
named spondee, good

night.

  2. Another one I love. Night Feet, I guess. This one is hard.

  3. Either Night Feet or something halted in the title, like "Good / Night" - of the three you present, Night Feet is full of the most possibility prior to entering the poem, and I think remains the most magical alongside the metaphors of the poem.
