Red Salute, With Lines Borrowed From Mallarme
Thighs. The smell of a ripe
olive's dark open mouth.
Chime of done.
Seaweed. Coarse, rotting
heaps of web.
Solitude, reef, star.
To whatever's worth
the white concern
of our sheet.
